5 Superstars that could defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship

Brock Lesnar is the WWE Champion and if he has his way, he will soon become the WWE Universal Champion as well. Since making his debut to the present day, 'The Beast Incarnate' has been presented as one of the most bulletproof stars on the roster.

But there's no point in having a solid WWE Champion unless there are enough realistic contenders for the prize. As invincible as Thanos was, people tuned in to watch Avengers: Endgame because they knew that even the mighty may fall. Here are 5 realistic challengers for Brock Lesnar and his prized possession.

As always, feel free to voice your thoughts and views in the comments section. If you think someone else would be a better challenger for Brock Lesnar, please do let us know below. Do you think Brock Lesnar deserved yet another run with the title?

PS: Big E is being left out of this list owing to the way that he's been presented lately. It just seems like, unfortunately, he's not going to be a prime player in the title mix going forward.

#5 Has Brock Lesnar met his match in WWE RAW Superstar Bobby Lashley?

Let's get the obvious option out of the way first. Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley go to war at the Royal Rumble and there's a big chance that the latter could defeat the WWE Champion. It would kickstart a series of matches that continues all the way until WrestleMania.

One may argue that at a certain point during WWE Day 1, Lashley had the match in the bag!

There is no way that the upcoming Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar match will not be competitive. Which way the pendulum swings in terms of the outcome is Vince McMahon's decision though.

#4 AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar is a match that needs to happen again

Remember the last time AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar went to war? Nobody expected the match to be one for the ages, and yet, it was.

Now that AJ Styles is no longer a tag team competitor, it would make sense for him to win the Royal Rumble and go up against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

It is a well-known fact that Paul Heyman is a big fan of AJ Styles, which is why he may push for a match like this.

#3 Can anyone stop the onslaught that is Omos?

Did anyone catch the way in which Omos manhandled AJ Styles on RAW this week? This may be an unpopular decision, but Omos may be hand-picked as the man that Brock Lesnar passes the torch to, as the next big thing in the company.

Omos has not been pinned since the time he made his debut and one has to wonder if anything at all can stop his onslaught. Even Brock Lesnar may find himself ill-equipped for the task.

#2 Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar have a score to settle

Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton both celebrate 20 years of dominance in 2022. Also do remember that they have a score to settle from their SummerSlam 2016 match, where Brock Lesnar left a bloody Randy Orton laying on the canvas.

If there's anyone who can realistically defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, it's Randy Orton, one of the all-time greats. Many fans may say that his current goofy gimmick may have run its course already.

#1 It's rare indeed to see Damian Priest lose a match

At this point, the idea of Damian Priest defeating Brock Lesnar to become the WWE Champion may seem like a pipe dream. But bear in mind that this is a guy who rarely ever loses, and the idea of 'Damian mode' is quickly picking up steam on RAW.

If he goes on to win the Royal Rumble and dethrone Brock Lesnar, he could become the next big thing in WWE. It will be interesting to see if WWE goes all the way with Priest.
