There is backstage talk about Lesnar possibly being revealed as LA Knight’s mystery opponent in “The Last Time is Now” tournament. This would be Lesnar’s first SmackDown match since 2019 and a major test for Knight, who has been working to prove himself as a top star.
With Cena’s retirement tour underway, Lesnar is also believed to be considering his own future and may want to complete key matches before stepping away.
Lesnar’s last major appearances on SmackDown involved John Cena and Corey Graves, giving WWE ready-made storylines if he returns.
After two years away, tonight’s SmackDown could mark the beginning of Brock Lesnar’s comeback.
