WWE SmackDown - 5 Possible Surprises- Adam Pearce makes a massive announcement, Cesaro has an unlikely tag team partner, Major return

The final episode of WWE SmackDown before Hell in a Cell is guaranteed to be a packed one for sure. A lot of stuff has already been advertised, and most of it looks good.

Just to ensure that there is buzz, chatter, and talk around Hell in a Cell, the creative team is likely to fill WWE SmackDown up with surprises. We've come up with a few in this article, and we invite you to do the same in the comments below.

#5 Adam Pearce completely shakes WWE SmackDown up with a major announcement

Let's be honest for a second. As awesome as WWE SmackDown is right now, the whole Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin feud over a crown just seems a little childish, doesn't it?

That said, how can the said feud come to a conclusion? The simple answer is with yet another King of the Ring tournament. Adam Pearce even teased as much on social media.

There are so many superstars on WWE SmackDown and RAW that could potentially win the crown, from Shinsuke Nakamura to Xavier Woods to his partner, Kofi Kingston to Otis, who has a new mean look and attitude.

Maybe someone from NXT is called up to win the prestigious feat. At the very least, it'll infuse a sense of excitement into the current product.

The tournament could start as early as this episode of WWE SmackDown, though chances are a bit unlikely. But if there's smoke, there's fire and the very fact that Adam Pearce alluded to this tournament on social media means that it could definitely happen.

The question is- could Sonya Deville also announce a Queen of the Ring tournament or does WWE not have enough women in the roster for that to happen?

#4 Cesaro teams up with an unlikely WWE SmackDown partner

Remember what happened on WWE SmackDown last week? Cesaro crashed Bayley's talk show and took the fight to Seth Rollins. Bianca Belair would let The Role Model know how much she enjoyed the moment by laughing her guts out.

Could we see the ultimate inter-gender tag team match on WWE SmackDown with Cesaro and Bianca Belair teaming up to take on Seth Rollins and Bayley? Rollins and Bayley are obviously entertaining and if this leads to more segments with the two of them, nobody would really complain.

#3 Roman Reigns launches a devious attack ahead of Hell in a Cell

We have seen many hospital attacks in the past, but the ultimate one may happen this week on WWE SmackDown.

Not enough people think that the blood feud between Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio warrants a Hell in a Cell match. But what if Reigns destroys Dominik in the hospital as he's recovering from the powerbomb he suffered on last week's show? That changes things and will surely make the feud personal!

#2 Sasha Banks returns to WWE SmackDown and makes a bold statement

Let's face it. WWE Smackdown hasn't been the same since Sasha Banks went on a break, especially with such a depleted women's roster. The return of The Boss is highly anticipated and when it does happen, it will really shake things up. Could Sasha Banks return to WWE SmackDown this week?

She may confront both Bayley and Bianca Belair and say that she will be the special guest referee to ensure that nothing goes wrong during the contest. Or Sasha Banks could say that she'll be keeping a close eye on the match and will come for whoever wins.

#1 Commander Azeez pins two opponents at once

Commander Azeez is the WWE SmackDown equivalent of Omos, and chances are that the company will want him to make a dominant impression this week. Commander Azeez will team up with the Intercontinental Champion, Apollo Crews to take on Big E, and Kevin Owens.

WWE is certain to portray Commander Azeez as bulletproof? Could they have him go all the way by pinning both his opponents?
