We got one of the biggest matches of the year between Seth Rollins and Edge at WWE Crown Jewel that led to the duo leaping off a ladder and through the table before Rollins used a chain to stomp The Rated-R Superstar but the latter still walked away with the win.

The No. 1 spot goes to @BrockLesnar making his shocking return at #SummerSlam!#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/cj53bplak1
Brock Lesnar made his surprise return at SummerSlam and it led to a brand new feud with Roman Reigns and The Beast Incarnate that will hopefully conclude with a Universal title match at the Day 1 pay-per-view.
It was a good year for WWE with the return of legends like Lesnar, Goldberg, and Edge while stars like Big E and Bianca Belair reached new heights in their careers.
The highlight of the year was Roman and Brock's feud that led to the firing of Paul Heyman while a close second in my opinion was the feud between Edge and Rollins.
We at Sportskeeda wish you guys a very happy new year as we head into Day 1 tomorrow. See you guys in 2022!
